to promote public awareness and stewardship of Bowron Lake and area;
to develop a broad range of community involvement, partnerships and affiliations for the betterment of Bowron Lake and area;
to maintain in an environmentally sustainable manner the social, leisure, and recreation potential of Bowron Lake and area;
to enhance aquatic and riparian habitat within Bowron Lake and area;
to research and develop strategies to ensure that work to be done with respect to enhancement is maintained in an ongoing manner;
to act as the facilitating body for fundraising, petitioning, lobbying and other related processes; and
to encourage and promote continued community stewardship of Bowron Lake and area.
The above purposes of the society shall be carried out without purpose of gain for its members, and any profits or other accretions to the society shall be used for promoting its purposes, and all of the above purposes shall be carried on an exclusively charitable basis.
